May 8th, 2024, Deming Speedway - Here are your race results for the AMCA Bandit Dwarf Cars Presented by RaceCals & Central Welding Supply.
The Dwarfs love to race at Deming. It is a really fun track. But unfortunately that is not the full story for this weekend. We wish we had some more photos to show you all that happened, but due to the weekends events, pictures were not on everyone's priority list.
It started with the noise ordinance. The track is positioned such that they need to have considerations for noise, so right away there were a couple drivers that were deemed too loud. This is not something we are unfamiliar with, but defiintely something that was not well prepared for at the time. The track had mufflers to borrow, which is very helpful. However that's not the end of the story.

Main Event
First things First. Jay Elliot had a race! He was in the lead and would sure have took first place! We want to take a moment to recognize his continued growth as a driver. So we say GOOD WORK JAY! Hold your head up because we are proud of your continued efforts.
But unfortunately we will not be writing about Jay winning the race. Because at the last moment his scabbed on (with radiator clamps) muffler fell off. Rather than just leave it at that, the track black flagged him. So Jay's first victory of his career was left out there in the dirt with the stinking muffler. Next time, Jay, Next Time.
Since Cameron had positioned himself well in second place he took the victory. We are thinking we need to come up with a broom because this keeps happening. Congrats goes to Cameron.
And then we had a familar but really cool battle between Father and Son.
