April 20th, 2023, South Sound Speedway - Here are your race results for the AMCA Dwarf Cars Presented by Central Welding Supply and RaceCals.

17 Cars! What a showing! Good work AMCA Bandits on showing our fans what we can do.

It was an excellent day at the racetrack and the perfect way to start our season. But to say it was an eventful day is an understatement.

First, we had three rookies who had never been in a dwarf car before. Welcome to the team Gents!

Main Event

• Cameron started 8th in the main and won, nearly set a new track record during qualifying, and also won his heat after starting in 5th. Way to go Cameron! The record is still 15.036 set by Mike Meers on May 26th, 2018.

• Braydon Aumen started 4th and took the lead on lap 2. Cameron overtook on lap 28.

• Riley Windsor started 9th and made it up to 6th. Then his hood started coming off so he left on a caution and restarted in 12th. Riley came back to finish 3rd.

• Daryl and Jim tangled on the front stretch and spun, allowing Jay to get around and finish at a good spot for last year's Rookie of the Year.

And of course there were also some bummer deals. Brian Taylor spun in turns 1/2 and got collected by Mike Woolery. Both were out.

Rick lost his u-joint in practice. Troy Said he'd never seen one come apart like that.

Finally, we can two blown engines: Sean Rothwell in his heat and Ryan Bishop in the main. Hopefully these guys can get them fixed up soon!
